My Little Dove
A poem about our Father guiding us throughout our journeys.
My Little Dove
By Eden K. Simeon
Ask Me each day,
Whatever you please.
Just remember your Father,
On your new journey.
Not only whenever you are in need.
Know that you are my greatest creation.
One of My many manifestations.
The ones that have My heart;
Especially the ones I have set apart.
I watch over you each day,
Sending you My love your way.
Covering you under My wings on your journey.
But detaching so that you are learning.
Ask then, you will receive.
But I hope you know,
You will reap what you sow.
I will not compete for attention,
Against your idolatry or any other addiction.
You cannot worship Me on Sabbath day,
And go home to your number one.
I will not be your second best.
No, no, my little dove.
I will not be your number two or three.
You will not passively worship me.
So, ask Me, my love,
Anything you please,
But just don’t think you can play with Me.
There is something I want from you.
I want you to trust me,
And let me search for you.
Weeding out all that pain and hurt from you.
And taking away all the sadness,
That once consumed you.
Have faith in Me,
Until you have no need.
I want to be your only provider.
I want to be the one that comforts you.
Not your cigarettes or food or the other afflictions you choose.
No, I want to be your number one.
So, ask Me, my little dove.
Anything that you please.
Just know you have a place in my heart.
Whenever you are ready.
