The Wilderness
It is a poem about spending one-on-one time with our Creator so he can move in a mighty way in your life.
The Wilderness by Eden K. Simeon
This is the passage I want you to take
The passage that will make you strong beyond any measure
But know, you are my treasure.
My chosen, my anointed,
No one will harm you.
It will not always be easy
When you look back,
it, in fact, it will be quite hard.
Let Me be the One to search for you.
Let Me weed out all that hurt from you.
So, you can release all the shame,
Provide forgiveness,
Freeing yourself from the blame.
When I bring you through the fire
The flame will transform you and make you brighter.
I have given you My Holy Spirit to guide you.
I want to grow My Spirit inside you,
Shine My loving light on the darkness hidden within.
Bringing you out of the pain from the past,
All that bends.
Go through the wilderness with Me
The straight way is not always the right way.
Let me guide you to the promised land.
Let Me give you my manna to strengthen you.
The bread of life, to fill you.
Enough for one day.
So that you can fight your devilish ways.
By the time you make it there, you will be made anew
To stand firm against the Earthly One
I will often test you
This, I know, is best.
To advance your soul
And grow My Spirit that lives inside of you.
Take up My Armor with the belt of truth around your waist
Then, put on your breastplate,
Ensure that it is in place.
When I'm done,
You will no longer be my little bird,
but you will soar high,
In the sky, a Phoenix flying from the fire, reborn.
Free from scorn,
To be the you, you were intended to be.
Free from shame,
Free from pain, and the hurt that once shackled you.
